We have developed a new patented data format for 3D model representation - "VIS" format, which is typically 100 times smaller than some of the CAD formats and is smaller than even the JPEG or GIF images. In addition to the geometric data, it is possible to specify textures, sound, animation and interactive behaviours in a VIS model. VIS models are internet ready in that these models can be viewed in a standard browser.
